When we started in April 2019, we did not believe we would be award winners in our first year. The Dumfries and Galloway Leader Awards Ceremony was held at Gatehouse of Fleet, in the gorgeous GG’s Yard. We were surprised and delighted to learn we won our category of Fisheries and Community. Our winner’s certificate is hanging in the Steam Packet Inn, and our original tapestry prize will be hanging hopefully in the Isle Church in 2021. Thank-you to every person who helps make our club what it is, it is you who won this award for us.
